You may not have noticed, but I’ve been adding new posts to this blog every five days for the past 2-3 months. Effective now, that interval will increase to every seven days.
My main motivation in doing the blog is to find a way to challenge myself and keep busy during retirement. It’s done that . . . and more. I love doing this. However, it’s unpaid work; in fact, I pay all expenses, including the assistance and guidance of a very talented professional web designer. I’d hoped the readership would grow sufficiently so I can earn enough to cover expenses. That’s taking longer than I expected.
By increasing the posting interval, I can reduce my work schedule from about 30 hours a week to 25. Thanks for your understanding and support. Use the comments button if you have ideas or suggestions.
The next post, coming Sunday, October 11, is a Cool Small Towns post on Newport, Oregon – a great place to stay when you take a road trip to the Oregon coast. Then, on October 18, we’ll visit a county in Indiana that has 31 covered bridges.
