On road trips we’re all used to seeing signs warning us to watch out for wildlife. I saw this sign on British Columbia Highway 3 near the town of Fernie. Is this a new species? Looks like an elk with wings. It certainly got my attention. Sadly, I never saw one of these mystery animals.
